Fotographic Landscape and Garden Design Service Details
Fotographic Landscape Deisgn consists of taking high resolution digital photos of the areas to be designed and adding real photos of plants and products desired by the client. We can clean up any photo of areas under consruction or other and you will never notice it was there to begin with. You'll have a before view and an after view of what your new garden or landscape will look like BEFORE you invest the money. This way you avoid uncessary costs and undesired results.
Many people hire someone to give them a beautiful garden and then end result looks fantastic but there may be thing you wished you would have done different only it's too late becuase now it will cost more money to make changes. Not with my designs. You the oportunity to make changes as the design is being created.
The process of fotographic landscape design consists of:
- Taking high resolution photos of the areas to be designed
- Working with the client to achieve the desired results
- Using high quality software for image editing
- Cleaning up any unsightlys in the the photos (I can take properties under construction and give you the what it will all look like when done!)
- Using only REAL photos of plants and placing them in the desired areas giving you a beautiful design
- Providing the client oportunities to make any changes
- Providing client with list of plants and products used in the design with their quantities and sizes
- Providing client with Printed Before and After Photographs
Residential Design Requirements:

- Make sure you take the photos from different areas of the property and free from any obstacles that inhibit creation...mainly fences...do not take the image from behind the fence, it only makes the process take that much longer. If you do have a fence and it can't be avoided takeing the picture from behind it...take a photo from the street and then again from the house towards the street.
- Measure all areas to be designed (for acurate placement of plants and products) Measurements should be the Area as well as the Perimeter of EACH location and clearly specified of where on the photos either on a copy of the original or a list acompanying the photos. If you live in the area I will come and take the photos and measurments myself if so desired by appoitment only. There is a trip fee.
- State the condtions of each individual area....if it recieves full sun or partial shade .....all the details you can provide will greatly speed the process of the design and help us determine which plants will be adecuate for the areas.
- State the conditions of the soil.....
- It is important for the client to state any requests and desires before the process begins. For example: you tell me how you want you new garden, what plants you desire, what size plants, any products (dirt, ground covers, rocks, fountains, pathways, etc) As stated previously, you will have plenty of oportunity to make any changes. Even if you already have a design in mind that you would like to apply to your property, I can duplicate it for your home so you can see before hand if it goes well and if you want any changes made.
When the process is completed and the client is satisfied with the end results all that's left to do is take your information (the photos and lists) to your favorite gardner or landscaper to get the ball rolling. A good professional gardner will give you great pricing because all the thinking work is done for them. All they have to do is....provide the materials and do the work according to the information we've already provided.
